Studio SonSon is an independent press and design studio founded by designer Hyunkyung Son in 2023, based in Seoul. The studio explores experimental approaches to books and design, covering a wide range of visual design fields, including exhibition identity, branding, poster design, package design, and art direction. Additionally, it seeks to expand the possibilities of design through various printed media formats, such as books and prints.
Studio SonSon(스튜디오 손손)은 2023년부터 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 디자이너 손현경의 실험적 태도의 책과 디자인을 전개하는 1인 프레스이자 디자인 스튜디오이다. 전시 아이덴티티, 브랜딩, 포스터 디자인, 패키지 디자인, 아트 디렉션 등 시각 디자인 전반을 다룬다. 또한, 책이나 프린트 등 인쇄를 기반으로 하는 다양한 매체 형식을 통해 디자인의 확장성을 추구한다.

Reading Hands is more than just an exploration of the reading experience—it is a project that investigates the act of reading itself, offering a new interpretation of the practice. By expanding reading into an artistic and sensory experience, this project encourages viewers to discover their own ways of engaging with books and reexamines the aesthetic value of this everyday act.
The moment of reading is a unique time that fosters deep interaction between the reader and the text. This project deliberately focuses on and explores this often-overlooked daily action. Reading is more than just decoding words on a page; it is an inherently unique and sensory act that can be extended beyond its conventional boundaries. Through elegant and expressive movements, the performer transforms the act of reading into a graceful, tactile experience, savoring each page as if rolling it gently through their fingers. The sound of turning pages and the delicate motion of fingertips elevate reading beyond mere textual engagement, turning it into a visual and sensory experience.
